Unaccompanied Minors

Children travelling alone with Brussels Airlines are in safe hands. We accompany them throughout their journey, from the moment you say goodbye to them at the departure airport to the moment they are collected by family or friends at the final destination.

Applicability on flights operated by Brussels Airlines

This arrangement applies to children between 5 to 11 years, not accompanied by a passenger of at least 12 years of age, who is fully capable of taking care of the child during the entire trip.

Passengers between 12 and 18 years and travelling alone may be considered unaccompanied minors and accepted as such:

on special request of the parents or an appointed guardian

in case of doubt about his/her ability to travel alone.
